Sakari is an approx. 11 year old stunning Percheron Cross Mare standing 15.2 hands tall. She is a nice size to mount and dismount easily but she is also stocky enough for a bigger Rider. We had many different Type of Riders on her and she has always taken care of them, i would say though she would be best suited for someone who knows the Basics in riding and has a little Experience. Sakari was used to drive single and double in the Past but we never hitched her. We have used her as a Pleasure Horse and we have Trail ridden her extensively. She is phenomenal on the Trail. She rides out alone or with others, leads or follows. Sakari will go throuh any tough terrain you put in front of her. Currently barefoot with great Feet and sure footed on the Trail. She is safe and not spooky. She is a nice Mover with a nice Walk, Trot and Canter. She will trot and canter in circles beautifully. Sakari rides Western, English and Bareback. She will also take a jump. She is safe on the Road, around Traffic and Atv’s. Sakari will ride on the lose Rein all day until you ask more of her. She has a sweet Personality once she warmed up to you and really loves Attention. Sakari stands in cross ties or single tied while you love on her, brush her, tack her, brush her, bath her etc She loads and unloads easy. Not marish and no Vices we have came across. She is an easy keeper, can be stalled or kept on Turn Out, gets along with Mares and Geldings in our current Herd and she has always been easy to catch for us. Sakari has been great for our Vet and Farrier. She is super nice on the Ground, has never been pushy with us. She has never offered to buck, rear, kick, bolt or bite.
